Do I apply for the small business incentives?
There is not a separate application process. Businesses who sign up for a package that are a minimum of $250 per month, with at least a one-year contract and on Westelcom’s fiber network, are automatically qualified for the small business incentive. What are symmetrical speeds?
Some internet providers provide “asymmetrical speeds”, or internet with faster download speeds and slower upload speeds. “Symmetrical speeds” means that upload and download speeds are the same. Westelcom provides Watertown businesses with internet using fiber, which provides symmetrical speeds! This offers a seamless experience for businesses who need a reliable internet connection for video conferences, remote working, backing up data to online or Cloud-based services, and other essential tasks.
